Long Live the Girl Moss
Maybe you've seen it, the tweet that started a series of memes that honestly... hit pretty deep.

Like I said, it goes deep. But also it touches on something that I think a lot of "girl bosses" and just people in general are feeling right now. Some of us may have come full circle and while we're more than capable, are finding ourselves just not wanting to hustle in those same ways anymore. It can be exhausting on every level, the mind, the body, and the soul.
I sure know this is true for me.
Of course, there are always going to be those boss babes who are such consistent go-getters and magic makers in the world of business or whatever the field may be. Hell! I used to be one and still know quite a few of them, and we fucking NEED them! But somewhere along the line, I think the pendulum swang a little too far pushing many of us into a hyper-masculine version of operating (go-figure).
But that doesn't have to be the case! There can be and there are, healthier versions of the girl-boss.
Newsflash: ditching the hyper 'get shit done' businesswoman doesn't make you any less valuable. You are inherently valuable!
So regardless if you're in girl boss mode or girl moss mode, or if you switch between, one thing is clear, we need to truly honor those who are hustling for the collective, while simultaneously seeing the value of the moss girl.
I say this mostly for myself, but I know if I need to hear it, so do others. So I'll say the most important lesson of it all again: ditching the hyper 'get shit done' businesswoman DOES NOT make you any less valuable. You are inherently valuable!
This also doesn't mean that the work that does get done is invaluable. It's all so important! I believe we are entering an era of slowdown, where even those with the desire to keep hustling are still doing so and hustling hard at that, but not at the breakneck speed many have been operating at.
I believe that the world is starting to value the Divine Feminine in all her forms, in her true multifaceted ways. The Divine Feminine is not only soft and motherly, but she is also fierce, wild, and free.
I believe that if we have any chance of surviving the long haul as humans, then we need true collaboration and partnership between the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine, like yesterday. That divine partnership between the two starts within ourselves, within our families, then our communities, and trickles into the collective.
We all know the world is still mostly masculine energy, and a lot of it is quite toxic at that, which is all the more reason to embrace the girl moss. Yes, we all need balance, but in a society that tries to make you extremely numb and hard, stay present and soft.
Let the moss wash over you.
Reconnect with Mother Earth.
